About

My work delves into themes of gender, class, and the socio-cultural influence of Christianity. Drawing from my formative experiences in Catholic school and family histories, I examine how religious doctrine shapes socialization and personal identity. My practice reflects on the intersections of individual experience within the confines of systemic power, particularly investigating the role of Christian social conditioning in the subjugation of women.

By reimagining and deconstructing religious cultural frameworks through references to historical imagery, literature, and symbols, I aim to confront inherited ideologies and question their contemporary relevance in shaping power structures. My work seeks to highlight the lasting influence of religious narratives on gender and social hierarchy.
